Zero-Width Quasi-Sliding Mode Band in the Presence of Non-Matched Uncertainties

چکیده

Sliding mode control strategies are well known for ensuring robustness of the system with respect to disturbance and model uncertainties. For continuous-time plants, they achieve this property by confining state a particular hyperplane in space. Contrary this, discrete-time sliding (DSMC) only drive representative point certain vicinity that hyperplane. In established literature on DSMC, width has always been strictly greater than zero presence Thus, ideal motion was considered impossible systems. paper, new approach DSMC design is presented aim driving exactly onto even As result, quasi-sliding band effectively reduced ensured. This achieved proper selection hyperplane, using unique properties relative degree two variables. It further demonstrated that, cases where variable impossible, one can use proposed technique significantly reduce width.

Robust Controller Design Based on Sliding Mode Observer in The Presence of Uncertainties and Actuator Saturation

This paper studies the design of a robust output feedback controller subject to actuator saturation. For this purpose, a robust high-gain sliding mode observer is used to estimate the state variables. Moreover, the combination of Composite Nonlinear Feedback (CNF) and Integral Sliding Mode (ISM) controllers are used for robust output tracking. This controller consists of two parts, the CNF part...

Terminal Sliding Mode Control for Nonlinear Systems with both Matched and Unmatched Uncertainties

In this paper, we extend the sliding mode idea to a class of unmatched uncertain variable structure systems. This method is achieved with introducing a new terminal sliding variable and the finite time stability of proposed method is proved using a new particular finite time condition in both reaching and sliding phases. In reaching phase new sliding mode controller is derived to guarantee the ...

Sliding Mode Control of Machining Chatter in the Presence of Tool Wear and Parametric Uncertainties

Chatter suppression is essential for achieving high precision and surface quality in machining processes. In this paper, a control strategy is presented for chatter suppression in cutting process in the presence of tool wear and parameter uncertainties. A single-degree-of-freedom model of a turning process in the orthogonal cutting configuration is used to set up the nonlinear delay differentia...

Dynamic Integral Sliding Mode Control of Nonlinear SISO Systems with States Dependent Matched and Mismatched Uncertainties

In this paper, the authors propose a novel dynamic integral sliding mode controller for state dependent matched and unmatched uncertainties. An output feedback methodology based designed dynamic controller attenuate the effects of the both matched and unmatched uncertainties along with considerable reduction in chattering phenomena. An integral manifold is used which provides sliding mode witho...

Sliding Surface Matched Condition in Sliding Mode Control

In this paper, the recently developed sliding surface matching condition (SSMC) is viewed from a new point that the mismatched uncertain term should satisfy the minimum-phase condition for the nominal system. With this new viewpoint, SSMC is extended to a more general class of system with nonlinear uncertainties. Finally, a numerical example demonstrates the results.
